If by Life You Were Deceived
If by life you were deceived
Don't be dismal, don't be wild
In the day of grief, be mild
Merry days will come believe
Heart is living in tomorrow
Present is dejected here
In a moment, passes sorrow
That which passes will be dear
This is one
of my favorite poems, which is written by Russian author, Pushkin. I
read this poem first time when I was 7 years old. At that time, I did not
understand any deep meaning in this poem. I only think this poem is easy for to
read and the tone is rhythmic.
I understand more when I was grow up. No matter what difficulty you are facing,
you just leave it behind. Believe yourself, and always keep passion towards
life. “If by life you were deceived. Don't be dismal, don't be
wild” This sentence always inspires me not to give up, because I believe “In a
moment, passes sorrow That which passes will be dear”.
